The ReStore is excited to fully sponsor our FIRST house this year!
Since 2018, the ReStore has been selling generous donations of gently used building supplies, furniture, and home goods, and the proceeds from those sales have allowed us to build our first home for a hardworking, deserving family. It will take many volunteers to build the ReStore house. Will you be one of them? Come join us on-site by contacting Jess Lazarz, our Volunteer Coordinator, at jlazarz@boonehabitat.org. Habitat’s vision is of a world where everyone has a decent place to live. We work towards this vision, being Christ’s Hands and Feet, by building and improving homes in partnership with individuals and families in need of decent and affordable homes. We have chosen to create opportunities for people to have sustainable housing by partnering with volunteers, donors, and corporations to break the cycle of poverty. ​ Since 1984, Habitat for Humanity of Boone County has been offering a hand up not a hand out enabling our partner families to achieve pride in home ownership working side by side with volunteers to build houses. We have built 70 homes helped over 200 hard working adults and children with their dream of housing stability.
