A Message From Kate McGormley

As the current President of Boone County's Habitat for Humanity, I am thrilled to be leading another women build team for Zionsville United Methodist Church. This is the 10th year of the women build! I'm proud of this organization, and I'm grateful to you for supporting me in my quest to help Habitat continue to help families get into safe and affordable housing!

Habitat’s vision is of a world where everyone has a decent place to live. We work towards this vision, being Christ’s Hands and Feet, by building and improving homes in partnership with individuals and families in need of decent and affordable homes. We have chosen to create opportunities for people to have sustainable housing by partnering with volunteers, donors, and corporations to break the cycle of poverty. ​ Since 1984, Habitat for Humanity of Boone County has been offering a hand up not a hand out enabling our partner families to achieve pride in home ownership working side by side with volunteers to build houses. We have built 70 homes helped over 200 hard working adults and children with their dream of housing stability.
