A Message From Katie Malott

Every year, I participate in the Habitat for Humanity Boone County Women's Build because I am passionate about making a tangible difference in my community. This initiative allows me to contribute directly to building homes and providing support to those in need. I find immense joy in helping others and being part of a collective effort to improve lives. The experience not only empowers those we assist but also enriches my own life through meaningful connections and shared purpose.

In Support of Habitat for Humanity Boone County
Habitat’s vision is of a world where everyone has a decent place to live. We work towards this vision, being Christ’s Hands and Feet, by building and improving homes in partnership with individuals and families in need of decent and affordable homes. We have chosen to create opportunities for people to have sustainable housing by partnering with volunteers, donors, and corporations to break the cycle of poverty. ​ Since 1984, Habitat for Humanity of Boone County has been offering a hand up not a hand out enabling our partner families to achieve pride in home ownership working side by side with volunteers to build houses. We have built 70 homes helped over 200 hard working adults and children with their dream of housing stability.
