Hi friends! I'm thrilled to share that I'm participating in Habitat for Humanity of Boone County’s Women Build this year — and for the first time, I’ll be stepping up as a Team Leader! Habitat’s mission has always meant a lot to me, and now more than ever, there's a critical need for affordable housing in our community. Women Build is one of my favorite builds because it’s about more than just building homes — it's about empowering women with hands-on skills, confidence, and the chance to lift other women up through homeownership and financial stability. Over the years, I’ve learned how to use power tools, hang drywall, pour footers, install baseboards — and more! It's been incredibly empowering, and I love putting those skills to use for such a meaningful cause. This year, we’re building a home for a single mother and her four children right here in Boone County — and your donation will directly support this life-changing project.
