A Message From Kayla Halterman-Anderson
I’m participating in my first Women’s Build with Habitat for Humanity because I’ve seen firsthand how critical safe, affordable housing is for families in our community. A stable home means more than just a roof - it’s a foundation for health, opportunity, and hope. Too many people right here in Central Indiana are struggling to find housing that’s both safe and within reach, and that need continues to grow.
By supporting this fundraiser, you’re helping build not just homes, but stronger futures for families who deserve a place to call their own. I’m proud to pick up a hammer and be part of that change - and I’d be so grateful for your support.

In Support of Habitat for Humanity Boone County
Habitat’s vision is of a world where everyone has a decent place to live. We work towards this vision, being Christ’s Hands and Feet, by building and improving homes in partnership with individuals and families in need of decent and affordable homes. We have chosen to create opportunities for people to have sustainable housing by partnering with volunteers, donors, and corporations to break the cycle of poverty. Since 1984, Habitat for Humanity of Boone County has been offering a hand up not a hand out enabling our partner families to achieve pride in home ownership working side by side with volunteers to build houses. We have built 70 homes helped over 200 hard working adults and children with their dream of housing stability.
