A Message From Penny Wallis

For a 2nd year, I am proud to be part of my Holliday Farms neighborhood team, the Holliday Handicaps & Hammers. I'm excited to build alongside these ladies, many of them new to the Habitat Women Build. No doubt we will have some fun stories of our own to tell from our experience onsite and I'm grateful to be a part of this year's Women Build recipient, Brandy's, story of receiving a home where she can feel a sense of love and community. I hope you can support me in reaching my fundraising goal of $5,000. All donations go directly towards the cost of building the home. My sincerest appreciation and gratitude for any amount you are able to give.

In Support of Habitat for Humanity Boone County

Habitat for Humanity of Boone County envisions a world where everyone has a decent, safe, and affordable place to call home. As Christ’s hands and feet, we put this vision into action by building and improving homes alongside individuals and families who are working toward housing stability. We believe that a home is more than four walls—it is a foundation for strength, stability, and opportunity. Through partnerships with volunteers, donors, businesses, and community organizations, we create pathways to sustainable homeownership and help break the cycle of poverty. Since 1984, Habitat for Humanity of Boone County has been offering a hand up, not a handout. Our partner families invest in their homes through sweat equity and work side by side with volunteers to build a place they are proud to call home. To date, we have built 82 homes and helped more than 250 hardworking adults and children achieve greater housing stability and the dream of homeownership.

Together, we are building more than houses—we are building hope, opportunity, and stronger communities.
