A Message From Kacie Symes
I'm participating in the 2026 Women Build in honor of my buddy, Roo, who we lost unexpectedly this year. Roo loved this event and quite frankly, all things women, ha! She was a great friend - she always said yes to every invite, especially when I needed a plus 1 to a sports ball thing. I think of her often and look forward to feeling her energy with us on this build.

In Support of Habitat for Humanity Boone County
Habitat’s vision is of a world where everyone has a decent place to live. We work towards this vision, being Christ’s Hands and Feet, by building and improving homes in partnership with individuals and families in need of decent and affordable homes. We have chosen to create opportunities for people to have sustainable housing by partnering with volunteers, donors, and corporations to break the cycle of poverty. Since 1984, Habitat for Humanity of Boone County has been offering a hand up not a hand out enabling our partner families to achieve pride in home ownership working side by side with volunteers to build houses. We have built 70 homes helped over 200 hard working adults and children with their dream of housing stability.
