A Message From Nikole Robeson

I am looking forward to my 7th year of working along side of some very awesome women! I am excited to be joining a new team- Sharp as Tacks! I have been involved with the Habitat Women’s Build since 2018 and I love to drive by some of the homes that we’ve built in Boone county. I will be praying for a nice sunny but crisp fall day on our scheduled build day of Oct. 21st. In previous years it has been rainy and cold. I do remember installing soffit vents on a ladder in the pouring rain, but I survived! I have learned all kinds of skills throughout these builds, installing electrical wire was a favorite one that comes to mind and painting closet doors- lots of closet doors! Other skills I learned include measuring and cutting wood, measured and layed flooring, even poured concrete driveways. This day is hard and full of manual labor, but believe me I enjoy the day of service and being with like minded ladies who enjoy giving back just as much as I do! We each raise a minimum of $250 towards the team goal of $2500. My goal is set for $300 this year- thank you for your support! Nikole

Habitat for Humanity of Boone County envisions a world where everyone has a decent, safe, and affordable place to call home. Since 1984, Habitat for Humanity of Boone County has been offering a hand up, not a handout. Our partner families invest in their homes through sweat equity and work side by side with volunteers to build a place they are proud to call home. To date, we have built 82 homes and helped more than 250 hardworking adults and children achieve greater housing stability and the dream of homeownership.

Together, we are building more than houses—we are building hope, opportunity, and stronger communities.
