A Message From Sam’s Work in Progress
For our group of friends, volunteering for Habitat for Humanity’s Women Build is the ultimate way to turn a day together into something truly meaningful. There is an incredible, empowering energy in stepping onto a construction site alongside women you love and trust, picking up power tools, and learning new building skills as a team. We laugh, we work hard, and we push past our comfort zones, but the best part is knowing that our shared effort is creating a lasting foundation for another family in our community. Women Build shows us exactly what happens when friends combine their strength, and we walk away from the build site closer to each other—and more connected to our community—than ever before.

In Support of Habitat for Humanity Boone County
Habitat’s vision is of a world where everyone has a decent place to live. We work towards this vision, being Christ’s Hands and Feet, by building and improving homes in partnership with individuals and families in need of decent and affordable homes. We have chosen to create opportunities for people to have sustainable housing by partnering with volunteers, donors, and corporations to break the cycle of poverty. Since 1984, Habitat for Humanity of Boone County has been offering a hand up not a hand out enabling our partner families to achieve pride in home ownership working side by side with volunteers to build houses. We have built 70 homes helped over 200 hard working adults and children with their dream of housing stability.
