A Message From Buds and Builders 1
2025's Women Build theme is "Every Home Has A Story" and it is Buds and Builders' 8th "chapter"/year to be participating. We are a group of friends with the desire to provide a deserving Boone County family with affordable housing and we aren't afraid to use a power saw, hammer some nails (and occasionally our fingers), climb rafters or haul stacks of siding to get the house built! We are also driven to meet and/or exceed our team's fundraising goal ($2,500 per team is requested). It's truly a team effort and I am so grateful for each and every "character" on this team!

In Support of Habitat for Humanity Boone County
Habitat’s vision is of a world where everyone has a decent place to live. We work towards this vision, being Christ’s Hands and Feet, by building and improving homes in partnership with individuals and families in need of decent and affordable homes. We have chosen to create opportunities for people to have sustainable housing by partnering with volunteers, donors, and corporations to break the cycle of poverty. Since 1984, Habitat for Humanity of Boone County has been offering a hand up not a hand out enabling our partner families to achieve pride in home ownership working side by side with volunteers to build houses. We have built 70 homes helped over 200 hard working adults and children with their dream of housing stability.
